Inhuman acts by a country's army
Inhuman
acts by a country's army on our jawans. We all are outraged and
extremely angry. It is true that such provocations are meant to derail
any normalisation between the two nations but repeated tolerance on one
party's side gives an impression of incompetency - almost to the level
of impotency. So while we must not get carried away in emotions and
declare war which is what rogue elements in that
country (>85%) want, we HAVE to start acting to defend our self
esteem as a nation. It's not about two soldiers - it's about us as a
nation.
What to do? - My suggestions:-
1) Punitive action on executive level for which plans surely exist keeping it below threshold of all out war / nuclear level. It will evoke response but the "danda" has to be strong and repeatitive sending the message that it is "cost ineffective" for them to engage in this kind of provocations.
2) Economic sanctions through international and regional associations. Hit them hard so that roti becomes more desirable than bullet or issues.
3) Political pressure through international bodies and bilateral relations with powers that be (USA, Russia, UK etc). Make it difficult for them to survive if international policy continued with out dated issues.
4) Diplomatic onslaught at all forums - high commision to regional to global. Become "less diplomatic" please.
5) Leverage relations with global powers asking "our due on this issue" in exchange for what they want (our markets).
GARNER SUPPORT FOR YOUR ACTIONS AND NOT EXPECT OTHERS TO ACT ON YOUR BEHALF.
